Fellowship Ministry Team:
Building relationships that change lives by connecting the community to Christ.

Responsibility & Function:
Responsibility of the Fellowship Ministry Team: To help FPC become a church OF small groups, connecting people through special events, small group invitations and encouraging church membership. Fellowship includes all ages, backgrounds and cultures. Our goal is to have 50 new groups by 2007 with an additional 30 new leaders prepared to lead.

1.  Encourage existing closed groups to become open, welcoming all people so that community will be experienced and the disconnected will be connected.

2.  Build a network of small groups on different core values: Interests, age groups, task, enjoyment, etc.

3.  Support Careforce Lifekeys in their ministry of mending, growing and sending, eventually assimilating people into service in the church and community.

4.  Support Family Ministries in their 4 S model: Sunday, Small Groups, Seminars, and Social events.

5.  Provide small group leaders for the new members classes, challenging new members to get connected with a small group.

6.  Plan an all encompassing church-wide fellowship event twice a year.

7.  Encourage all ministries to meet together in small groups resulting in common vision and strength through prayer and scripture study, i.e. ushers, hospitality teams, worship teams.

8.  Provide leadership development opportunities to all small group leaders through classes and conferences and personal support.

9.  Encourage church, community and world service work among small groups by providing an overview of opportunities available.

10.  Develop open communication, cooperation and planning between Fellowship Ministry Team and all other ministry teams and staff.

11.  Report to Session monthly.
