Student Ministries: Grades 6-12
SUN / 9:30-10:45AM / SANCTUARY
Join us in the main sanctuary for the 9:30am worship service. You can sit with your family or up front on the left side with other students and student leaders. We want to be a church community that worships together, so we need you to come be a part of this gathering.
SUN / 11:00am-12:00pm / MEET AT POWERHOUSE
On Sunday mornings, after the 9:30 worship service, we will gather together for either group discussions or a Family Ministry activity. Some days we will serve together, some days we will play together, and other days we will learn together. We would love for whole families to participate, but teenagers are welcome to come on their own as well.

DINNER 7:15-7:45 / MID HIGH 6-7:45PM / HIGH SCHOOL 7:15-9PM
Each Wednesday we will have a party in the gym. Come be a part of the community and bring your friends so that they too can experience the love of Jesus. Mid High students meet from 6:00-7:45pm. High school students meet from 7:15-9:00pm. During the 30 minute overlap, from 7:15-7:45pm, we will share dinner together.
As students join our community they will be embraced with love and acceptance to provide and atmosphere for a life changing experience. Once students find value in our community we believe that they will invite others to also join us.
Every person on this planet was created in the image of God. Part of our design is that our lives will be best lived with our creator as the center and as the ultimate focus. But all people are also prone to putting other things before God. This disrupts the order of our lives and the results always bring destruction. Our hope is to learn together how to keep God as the object of our highest worship…not ourselves.
We believe that God wants to heal us and change us from the inside out. This can be long, slow, or even painful… but it is also the most exciting process that any of us will go through. We want students to be connected to other students and to caring adults in order to have deep relationships where they can talk about real life.
As we become more like Jesus our hearts will break for the people and places in this world that need healing. Are we going to be open to brining that healing to those around us? If the answer is yes, then we can be sure that God will use us to impact our families, our schools, our neighborhoods, and this city. |
