Current Sunday Morning Teaching Series - Fruit of the Spirit
If someone were to look at your life, could they tell you are a Christian or would the fruit you bear tell a very different story?
The fact is that we all bear fruit in our lives: that which demonstrates who we are and what we believe. Using Paul’s letter to the Galatians and other verses of Scripture, we will explore what is expected of the individual who becomes a follower of Jesus Christ. According to Paul, the Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are called to produce this “fruit” in our lives and community. In doing this, we further the church’s missional task to reach, worship, grow, and impact! |
